16/01/2018
HM Land Registry has unveiled new functionality and data for the UK House Price Index (UK HPI) in order for users to better track house price trends across the UK. These improvements to the UK HPI produce more available data, greater accuracy and additional commentaries in the reports.
The new features include:
• comparing average house prices in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland by county, region or local authority
• typing the desired location or clicking areas on a map to find results
• accessing a market trend archive dating back to 1968 with data about funding statuses, buyer statuses and property status information
• converting search results into tables and graphs
• saving search criteria for later date by bookmarking your search in various stages
